I'm really missing my dad right now. I still have so much unprocessed grief bubbling under the surface, I never really had a chance to deal with it. Ive just been swallowing it. But yeah, I miss him. My cousin finished paying me off for his jeep wrangler with the van halen decal, so I sent him a rockstar rubber ducky aka dad duck. so that's something. I wish I was closer to his grave because honestly, I dont feel him around me. I just feel him with me in the stars, sometimes. But even then it doesn't feel like he's here, just waving. Its the ultimate tragedy to me that he and vari never met. I really think he would've gotten a kick out of her. He was such a special person. The place I see him most is in myself, I wonder if that's because I can't stand not having those pieces around me. Anywho.

I think I still have a lot of work to do, but in this moment, I've never felt closer to who I was before my trauma started, and I really like who that kid was. i want to be every body's friend again and help whoever needs it and spread bits of kindness and love and intention into everything that I do.

Anyway :) that anti depressant is doing wonders for my noggin. I havent/dont think about killing myself often, or much at all really. Its a refreshing state of mind to be in. I hope to keep it going for as long as I can. Im hoping I can finally get some headway now and see my hard work start to pay off.

Hard to know if the union leadership could have known this ahead of time, but according to the Payday Report article, having struck the parts plants instead would have been more effective regardless—at the cost of UAW's political support among Democratic Party officials, and at the risk of getting Biden and the state's labor-peace process involved to cut the strike off early. Whether that would be a worthy trade is a matter of opinion, even among UAW members themselves.
